This is why we’ve been working with holistic health life coach Jane Cebrynski from Champion Wellbeing for 2 years. Jane is our Chief Wellness Officer and has made a tremendous impact on each of us individually as well as on our business as a whole. Here’s a peek at how we work toward wellness together.

Holistic Health

There was a time when health and wellbeing only referred to the physical health of the body. But today, “employee wellbeing has expanded beyond physical wellbeing to focus on building a culture of holistic wellbeing including physical, emotional, financial, social, career, community, and purpose.” In order to live our best lives and better serve our clients, each of us at StringCan aims to be healthy in each of these ways - and Jane helps us do that.

Emotional & Life Intelligence

Every week, our team meets with Jane, and we improve our expertise in the following areas. We make weekly commitments in one of the following areas:

Then, she follows up with us the next week and holds us accountable for the goal we set the prior week. For example, someone might set the goal of paying down their credit card (“economic independence intelligence”). By having weekly accountability and goal-setting sessions with Jane, we’re motivated to meet our goals and make strides toward the lives we want for ourselves.

On a business front, focusing on employee wellbeing and wellness at work has made our team even stronger. We collaborate more freely and communicate more effectively. We’re also less likely to take things personally or have unnecessary conflict because we actively work on our emotional intelligence.
